Looking for a real world Item list for Contractors if someone is willing to share. Would like to see a list that is actually used instead of the QuickBooks examples...
Thanks

There is no fixed list. If you sell airplane parts then that is what your list would consist of. If you do painting then your item list would be made up of the different types of services you offer.
The beauty of QB items list is that you can use it fairly generically - as you can change it on the invoice as you set it up. Or you can add numbers and be very specific.
It totally depends on your needs.

Here's an item list for a home improvements company:
Contract Labor
Decking
Doors
Job Supplies
Patio Cover
Pergola
Screen Room
Siding
Sunroom
Windows
The main point is that it doesn't take many, maybe even only one. Like zaddy said, it depends on your needs..
