Accounting Software required: London Taxi Company

We are a taxi company Hummingbird Cars in London. We provide Airport Transfer service from all london airports.
We are new in the business and we require to buy a good accounting software. Can anyone please advice which software will be suitable for us as we are a small business and also which one will be relaiable and affordable.

You have several options available to you. Xero is one of the big players and charge a bit more but the software is not specifically for the UK market which could be an issue for yourselves; for example no online VAT filling. Then you have several small players within the UK there's Kashflow.co.uk who have been around for a while and have a decent bit of kit. I recommend Microsoft Accounting 2009. I know, MS transferred the software to another company and appears
to have spiked the product. But for $49.99... I have a friend using QuickBooks from 2000. UK version?
