You'll find most with some combination of successful business leadership history, an acknowledged area of pertinent expertise, outstanding business reputation, significant personal/family investment and sizable to immense personal wealth.

Hi,

One of the key qualities of becoming a CEO is leadership and that tends to come from making decisions and taking responsibility for finding out answers for yourself before consulting others.

I'm not trying to discourage you however I find that by asking these questions and spending 14 years in education you might benefit from more "doing", decision making than theorizing. As far as I know there are no formulas to becoming a CEO, maybe starting your own business might be a start in experiencing what its like to manage people on a smaller scale and gain valuable contacts for the future? Hope this helps.
