Our office is looking for an Accounting/Files Clerk for either part time or full time work. We are flexible to our employee's schedules; however, you should expect to work at least 3 weekdays per week.
The individual must be bright and learn quickly to thrive in this incredibly fast pace and demanding environment. Prior office experience will help. Accounting Description: Bookkeeper who is experienced in all phases of accounting including; Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, process payroll using ADP Payroll. Must be able to use Peachtree, QuickBooks, Time slips, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Perfect software. Filing Description: Able to create a new file in the system and physically make a file. Able to keep up with the filing on a regular basis. Able to locate the file or documents when asked for. Required Skills: * Document Creation, Proofreading, Manipulation. * Spreadsheet Creation using formulas. * Good work ethic. * Good judgment. * Typing Speed 40 WPM. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information. * Ability to work well under pressure. The individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills. * Written communication. The individual edits work for spelling and grammar, and is able to read and interpret written information. * Planning/organizing. The individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently. * Quality control. The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. * Adaptability. The individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
