Main Purpose of the Role
Preparation of the general ledger journal entries, help produce and distribute financial statements, analysis of financial results and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Main Areas of Responsibility

- Assist in the monthly close
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly Financial Statements and Management Reports
- Identify and calculate accruals
- Book journal entries
- Prepare monthly fixed asset schedule and calculate and record depreciation
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Support the Controller in matters relating to financial analysis, audit and taxes
- Provide assistance in completion of annual budget
- Special projects as needed

Required Experience and Skills

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Solid Excel skills
- Experience with Great Plains a plus
- Strong understanding of Accounting Principles
- Industry experience not required

Professional Certifications and Education Required

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
