We are looking to hire an Accountant with experience in payroll processing and employee stock program administration. You will be responsible for both running our semi-monthly payroll through ADP and day-to-day administration of our employee stock plan. Experience at a publicly traded company is preferred but not necessary for this position. Duties and responsibilities Process semi-monthly payroll utilizing ADP system for 170 employees Prepare corresponding payroll related journal entries Ensure compliance with accounting and tax rules and securities laws Update daily cash balance Perform balance sheet account reconciliations (eg bank reconciliations) Day-to-day stock administration Maintain records of all stock option activities Prepare monthly stock option/exercise related journal entries and reconcile related general ledger accounts Reconcile all general ledger payroll and benefit accounts Process payment requests for 401(k) and other employee benefit plans Perform special projects as needed Requirements 2+ years payroll processing experience (preferably using ADP payroll system) 2+ years stock option program administration Experience in MS Office skills, primarily Excel Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills required Able to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, work as part of a team as well as independently Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality Detail-oriented and possess excellent technical, analytical, organizational and time-management skills This is an exciting opportunity for working with a dynamic company in a supportive environment.
