Looking to join a strong growing publicly traded Semiconductor Corporation located in Fremont? This exciting company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A group reporting to a great mentor!
The Sr. Financial Analyst reports to the manger of FP&A. The analyst will provide forecasting, financial modeling and business analysis and reporting. This position will involve developing strong business partnering relationships with various management levels including VPs. This is a high visibility position and requires a person who can deliver high value analysis and performance reports that make a significant impact in the business decisions of the Company. Essential Job Functions: •Build and maintain financial forecasting and planning models. •A key contributor to the success of the quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process encompassing the full P&L and Balance Sheet. •Prepare reports and analysis of budget and forecast versus actual, and review performance with managers. •Develop a dashboard and standard reporting to highlight potential problem areas and propose solutions. •Assist in developing internal and external benchmarking and associated analysis. •Help drive cost control and financial analysis related to cost improvement projects. •Month-end Close activities. •R&D Project Spending analysis. •Special Projects as required. Experience: •At least 5-7 years of experience in finance/accounting. •Semiconductor industry experience highly desirable. •Strong skills in financial analysis with demonstrated proficiency in forecasting and budgeting. General and Cost Accounting experience a plus. •Proven analytical and creative problem solving skills. •Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. •Must be detail oriented, yet able to see the big picture. •Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. •Exceptional communication skills. •Demonstrated ability to build effective business partnerships. •A team player who can work closely with peers.
