We currently have an excellent opportunity in Walnut Creek, CA for a highly motivated professional to provide complex financial analysis, general ledger monitoring, management reporting, and process/control analysis for the Real Estate Industries Division.

In this role, you will:

• Assist in the preparation of assigned, regular management reports originating from REID Accounting
• Compile management reporting information from the Division Profitability Reporting system and generate REID analytical reports and analysis
• Assist in the financial analysis of assigned REID transactions and/or business undertakings
• Assist in review of controls and processes to ensure efficiency and adequate internal control
• Perform daily quality control duties to ensure input and processing accuracy for the general ledger, Alltel RE System, and CLCS/AFS/CLS
• Monitor the general ledger with particular attention to suspense accounts
• Design management reports to improve readability
• Prepare monthly and quarterly certifications of general ledger accounts for loans serviced on the RE System, CLCS/CLS/AFS, OREO, and housing partnership accounts
• Bring outstanding suspense items or other issues that require action to the attention of appropriate supervisor and management personnel
This position requires:

• A BA/BS in accounting or finance or combination of equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Complete knowledge of accounting, management reporting, general ledger and operational accounting
• Thorough knowledge of banking and real estate lending and operations
• PC proficiency with MS Office
• Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
