Primary Job Functions:
Prepare and process invoices for payment Generate Accounts Payable check runs and mail out checks. General Duties: Sort mail, correspondences, invoices for distribution Prepare invoices and checks for payment. File invoices, payments and correspondences. Assist with special accounting projects as needed. Prepare and distribute daily reports as assigned Accounting Assistant will back up other Assistants in the department Skills and Requirements: Able to handle a large volume of invoices. Knowledge of general accounting principles Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office Initiative in course of executing responsibilities, Good communication skills Detail oriented and highly organized General knowledge of office practices and procedures.
