Ameredia (www.ameredia.com) is a full-service multicultural advertising agency based in San Francisco . We are looking for a full-time experienced Accounting/Bookkeeping + Admin to manage Agency's accounts and general office administration. We are a small but fast growing advertising agency and are looking for people seeking long-term growth.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Premier

• Strong familiarity with accounting concepts, including payroll and AR/AP

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word and Internet research

• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to create structured environment

• Detailed oriented and highly motivated with strong work ethic

• Demonstrated ability to work independently yet collaboratively

• A good understanding of what it takes to work in a small office

• Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions

• A minimum of 2 years business experience; preferably in an agency setting

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year US College

• Ability and desire to learn and grow within the organization

Responsibilities/Duties

• Consistent invoicing for all projects

• Check payments to media and vendors

• AP/AR, Statements, Collections, Financial Reports

• Reconciling credit card, line of credit, and bank statements

• Track vendors W-9 and process 1099-MISC

• Cash flow and budget forecasting

• Maintain current office systems and create new ones as appropriate

• Organize office and manage internal and external communications

• Assist senior management in overall financial and administrative management

Though this posting is for a Accounting/Bookkeeper + Administrative Assistant, our prime requirement is for Accounting/Bookkeeping. You must have a very good understanding of QuickBooks Premier Edition and be able to manage day-to-day accounting tasks efficiently. Your focus will be 80% on Accounting and 20% on Administration.

We are looking for a full-time placement but may consider part-time as well if you have the right credentials and meet agency's day/time requirements. The salary will be based on your availability and experience.

If you are bilingual, please mention it in your response as the agency is diverse and consists of people representing different ethnicities. Do mention if you have reading, writing and speaking fluency in your native language.

We are located on Market Street in downtown San Francisco near BART and MUNI stations. Public transportation and the best restaurants and shopping are all near the office. If you are driving, parking is just a block away.
Starting annual salary is $36,000 which will be reviewed after 6 months based on performance.
