GESD Capital Partners, LLC is a San Francisco-based private equity firm that provides investment capital to middle-market companies. The firm currently manages over $250 million in assets. GESD aligns itself with strong management teams typically in stable, profitable companies emphasizing growth and value creation. GESD focuses on manufacturing and service companies, with an emphasis in food and beverage, consumer products and business services industries.

Job Description:

Opportunity for a tremendous learning experience in a fast-paced private equity environment. The intern’s primary responsibilities include evaluating business plans, investment research, and various administrative tasks. Depending on performance level, the intern’s responsibilities will typically grow to encompass financial analysis, participating in due diligence, and providing overall transaction and portfolio company support. All interns are required to complete the intern training program.

Position: Internship
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Full-time
Duration: Minimum commitment of 6 months
Compensation: Hourly wage plus benefits

Qualifications:
• At least one to two years of work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
• Must have completed introductory finance and accounting courses with excellent grades.
• High level of professionalism, maturity, superior attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
