    Default Quickbooks ProAdvisor Certification

Has anyone ever had experience with this Quickbooks ProAdvisor cerftification? How much of a help to me would it be to have this on my resume in terms of future employability? Right now, I am just an accounting student and have 2 more years before I get my Bachelors.

I have been thinking alot about getting QB ProAdvisor certification but the hefty price tag puts me off. QB is the most popular accounting software in the market so the need for people who understand it inside out is now more than ever...

If you can spend money, go for it...

Becoming a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor would be great! Accounting firms need people who know and understand QuickBooks since so many clients use it. If you want to have your own firm/business, then being able to use the Certified QB ProAdvisor logo is a great benefit (among many other benefits). Plus, once you're certified you'll be listed on their referral database which helps clients find you. Great program--great Certification!

I was looking at this too. I'm using it for a business I'm starting but long-term I want to get a CPA and thought this might be useful?

My last CPA firm employer told me that was one of the factors considered when hiring. If your planning on working for a smaller firm, you will need to know the program. I would say go for it.
