As far as I know, unless you have knack for accounting, dont try to do it.
I would say that now as universities have a minor option, you can go ahead with a degree in management and then you can minor in accounting. Just because you minor in accounting doesn't mean you will be taking beginner accounting courses. You will learn all the hardcore material you need to work as an accountant. Just my 2 cents |

I agree with Zaddy... if you're fond of numbers you should opt for accounting. If not do get a business degree and minor accounting. At least you get the best of both worlds.
