I'm thinking of majoring in accounting, what are some of the best colleges or universities?

As far as I know:

1) University of Texas - Austin
2) University of Notre Dame
3) Texas A&M
4) University of Southern California

I looked for this online and was able to come up with this file that lists the top 25 undergraduate programs in accounting (public)

That was really helpful zaddy, I am currently deciding on colleges and this will help me get a jump start to my accounting career...

I don't know where you are but I goto San Francisco State and it also has a very good and competitive program and the instructors are also very cooperative and want every student to succeed.

I am in New York and I think I will attend UT Austiin as it sounds really nice and is also very reputable.

Doesn't matter where you go, if you can land an internship with the big 4, your career will get a jump start.

BTW, they only hire people with GPA of 3.5 or above...

Big 4 is everyones dream... doesn't matter what school you go to... just get good grades and make sure recruiters show up during career fairs from the big 4.

That is exactly my thought.... I know someone who was hired because of his amazing and impressive personality even though he had 2.8 GPA.
