All:

I am into IT and Telecom and each passing year I have this regret ,,
About NOT KNOWING
>what my Tax assessor is usually talking about
>if its a good idea to invest, eg in real estate - benefits, as far as tax deductions etc go
>Difference , benefits, drawbacks between an SCorp and a LLC
>Is 401K better or a 529 ( yea - I do have 2 kids!)
>How can I file my returns honestly and efficiently by myself

Maybe I am covering a lot of topics here..but yea goes to see what I am lacking and I need guidance in where to start from.

To all you gurus out there... I am not keen on a CPA degree - but now I meed a road map. I am willing to invest 8-10 hours a week to study and am pretty good with numbers.
Even if I need to take courses online.. I am open.. I am REALLY motivated..just don't know where to start.

I know it easiest to hire services of an professional... but I am looking at a long term payback and benefit..for which I am willing to sacrifice now!

This is aimed at personal finance management, but who knows - a career change lurking down the line.

Appreciate any and every advice.

Regards,
